The instructions say: apply to cleansed face, neck, décolletage after your booster and before moisturizer. The lip area has very different skin compared to facial skin. Lips are thinner, have no (or very little) barrier lipids, and are more permeable. Products not formulated specifically for lips may be too heavy, too occlusive, or contain ingredients that cause irritation when applied so close to the mucous membrane. I used ceramide time capsules in the 90s. Which product now resembles the original time capsule? I loved it when I used them many years ago and would love to go back to that product again.
