From the first application. It made my face look brighter. I have freckles and I really do not like my freckles. This made my freckles look less pronounced. It layered well on my skin with other products and absorbed into my skin quickly, leaving no residue. This product claims to brighten dark spots and provide overall brightening in as little as 2 weeks. Unfortunately, after 28 days, I didn't notice a difference with my dark spots or overall brightening."
